Product

Nukleio is a portfolio management platform for developers who want one source of truth for their professional content. It combines a content dashboard, official client libraries, a public portfolio API, usage analytics, billing, and generative AI tools built around job-search workflows.

Use this page as a product overview before moving into the step-by-step docs.

Portfolio Content Management

Nukleio lets you manage the information that powers your portfolio website without editing frontend code for every content change.

You can manage:

  • profile details, including name, bio, contact information, role, company, and location
  • social and professional links, including GitHub and LinkedIn
  • project records with descriptions, dates, links, languages, frameworks, technologies, and thumbnails
  • uploaded assets such as portraits, resumes, transcripts, and project images
  • API keys for connected portfolio sites

Your portfolio site can stay focused on presentation while Nukleio manages the data behind it.

Public Portfolio API

Connected portfolio websites use Nukleio’s public API to request your portfolio data.

The main endpoint is:

GET /api/public/getUserData

Your portfolio sends a Nukleio API key as a bearer token. Nukleio validates the key and returns public portfolio data as JSON.

This makes it possible to update content once in Nukleio and reuse it across one or more portfolio frontends.

Official SDKs and Libraries

Nukleio provides official SDKs that make the public API easier to use from popular languages and frameworks. The libraries handle authentication, requests, response parsing, typed portfolio models, and API errors while leaving your application’s presentation entirely under your control.

Official packages are available for:

  • JavaScript and TypeScript with @nukleio/core
  • React with @nukleio/react, including a context provider and data hooks
  • Python with nukleio
  • Java with io.github.ericnohara:nukleio
  • .NET with Nukleio
  • Go with the official Nukleio Go module

Each library returns the same core portfolio data, including profile details, skills, experience, projects, education, files, social links, and subscription information. The SDKs also support endpoint overrides for local development and language-appropriate request cancellation or timeout controls.

Start with the SDK overview to choose a package, or browse the individual guides for JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Python, Java, .NET, and Go.

For integrations that do not need a library, you can continue using the raw public API directly.

Dashboard Analytics

The Nukleio home dashboard helps you understand how connected portfolio sites are using your API keys.

Dashboard views include:

  • recent activity
  • recent latency distribution
  • top connections by API key
  • success and failure availability

These views help you confirm that portfolio integrations are working and make it easier to identify failed requests, stale keys, or unexpected usage patterns.

Generative AI Agents

Nukleio includes generative AI agents for job-search and portfolio workflows. These agents use your Nukleio profile and portfolio data to help create professional materials faster.

Resume Agent

The resume agent generates resume files from your Nukleio data.

It supports two generation modes:

  • standard resume generation from selected profile, education, experience, course, project, and skill records
  • AI-enhanced resume generation that can choose and improve relevant user information to include in your resume to optimize for a specific job type

The resume agent renders generates a PDF, uploads it to storage, and returns a public resume URL.

Use it when you want to quickly create a polished and optimized resume from the content you already maintain in Nukleio.

Cover Letter Agent

The cover letter agent helps generate and revise job-specific cover letters.

The workflow can use:

  • job title
  • company name
  • a pasted job description
  • your Nukleio portfolio data
  • an optional writing sample
  • user feedback for revisions

Behind the scenes, the cover letter workflow includes agents for job research, writing analysis, user-data filtering, first draft generation, draft evaluation, revision, skills match scoring, and revision naming.

Generated cover letters can be cached, revised, scored against the job, previewed as PDFs, and reused later.

Use it when you want a cover letter that reflects the requirements of a job posting, your writing style, and your actual profile content you already maintain in Nukleio.

Professional Headshot Agent

The professional headshot agent generates and revises portfolio-ready headshots from a reference image.

It can use:

  • a reference photo URL
  • an optional background description
  • an optional background image URL
  • attire selection
  • output layout selection
  • revision feedback

Before generation, the agent validates whether the reference photo is suitable and appropriate. If the photo passes validation, Nukleio generates the headshot, uploads it to storage, and returns a public URL.

Supported attire options include automatic selection, business, business casual, smart casual, casual, tech professional, and academic.

Use it when you need a cleaner profile image with a high level of customization for your portfolio without manually arranging a new photo session with a professional photographer.

Nukleio includes plan-based access for different levels of usage.

Current plan areas include:

  • Free plan for small portfolios
